Matt, here's a walkthrough on how to HTMLise post as you suggested:
Click on 10:50am (timestamp of your post)
Note there is an Edit button in the top left hand corner of screen, click on it
Highlight URL and copy
Click on URL button above right on form (PC only) and paste into pop-up
Click OK
Save post
Post updated with active link
Fairly quick once you're used it.
