Top Jobs 2007

2007 is up and running and time to spring clean the old blogs. It's the first year in a while that I haven't kicked off with a mail-out but to be honest, I'm still reeling from last year.

Happy New One? .... Well yes, I'm free (not one of a record number of slaves), well-off, healthy, in love and doing a project I'm passionate about but you really have to wonder don't you...

For the last couple of years most of my blogging has been confined to project extranets away from the public eye (and spammers) but time to head to the Googlebot confessional once more. Not that anyone should be reading this, there's far more important things to do. That's my excuse for not even providing a style for these pages. Go away, get a newsreader!

So back to work. Nice to see that I'm not completely obsolete yet, according to Fast Company's "top jobs" for the year.

3) Web Designer - tick (although judging by this you may wonder)

4) Security Systems Engineer - tick (although talk about an exercise in futility - something to keep somewhat at arm's length...)

6) Viral Marketers & Media Promoters - tick (you got something that's REALLY worth promoting, get in touch)

10) New Analysts, Reporters and Bloggers - got ya! looks like I scraped by on this one

and lastly,

1) Experience Designer

Of course the article is referring to retail shop experiences but geez I like the sound of that. It sums up my approach to this interactive drama nonsense. But just what the world makes of a re-mixable film experience remains to be seen!
