Real Families, ITV1 Tue Oct 11 8:00 PM, was the story of 12-year-old Louise who lives with her M2F mum, Kate, and her mum's ex, Lee, also M2F. It's the first time I can recall seeing a child with a transsexual parent talking at length in the media about their experience of the world. Hounded by the tabloids and crucified by daytime TV, the family survives with dignity intact.
