The real-world threat is not there to back up the virtual world threat. If we establish the family dynamic well in the first half, then keep throwing stuff at the family in the second half as the real world police close in on identifying the real Blake, there should be an element of risk to both worlds, the outcome of each affecting the other.

From Robert Bowerman:

Story: Its great. Quite a springboard off Snow Crash, but that is not bad. CD is great. I love the way you have video game themes within the film. I love the way you have Blade and Axel be the victims of the shoot em up. I would love to see that victim bit carried on a bit more -- come the car race it seems to be less of B & A as victims.

Another angle I think the story could play up a bit more is the state in the physical world closing in on her body. Just short excerpts of the state - in big bulky green army kit and army vehicles and helicopters with spot lights. This could help build the tension. You also have in the vitual world the percentage counters going towards 100% - I think that having them go towards 0% would help build the excitement, of time running out.
