OSS ignorance in Aus gov

Slightly ironic to be speaking at an "open source in UK public sector" conference on the same day as the Australian government casually links OSS to piracy in the mainstream press. Something to make Slashdot'ers choke on their fruit loops.

As reported in the Sydney Morning Herald:

Counsel for the Commonwealth, Paul Roberts, SC, said Ng was well aware he was acting illegally... Ng had co-written an essay for his information technology law course on "open source software licensing".
