| Description | : | Jim is a traditional film-maker whose brief fling with 'film studies' at the University of Texas and life-long passion for still photography landed him a few gigs as D.O.P on a number of student films before undertaking his directorial debut in the latter part of 1997. His first short feature 'Made to Sell' was done on a shoestring budget and with a lot of help from his co-workers at the Hemp clothing store which is currently run by his girlfriend Carol, an aspiring actress.
His brother Hank who's a Systems Analyst has been encouraging him to get more involved with the digital medium and look more closely at burgeoning developments in film & new media technologies, if for nothing else to allow Jim to build his career working independently rather than being creatively constricted by the studio system. |
